I enjoyed the Vampires but there were certain parts of the book that made it slow moving and hard to keep reading.

This was a great sequel to Beacon! I loved bringing RAND back into Jo's life and the challenge it added to her uneasy alliance with the vampires. The author stayed true to the characters, and yet still evolved them from the first book. A very entertaining read, it kept me locked in for the weekend!

At times I felt lost as to not knowing what was going on in the story. I don't know if it is because I have not read the first book? I enjoyed the story, but at times I felt my attention wandering from it.
It is a decent vampire book, and a good story, but sometimes it just seemed to move along slow.
