This work is the first of its kind to focus specifically on the practice and procedure of the High Courts and Courts of Appeal of the various Caribbean jurisdictions, particularly Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, the Bahamas, Barbados, Guyana, and the Cayman Islands. In this book, both reported and unreported decisions have been analysed and explained in the context of the Rules of the Supreme Court of the various jurisdictions. Current developments in the Caribbean have been emphasised and, wherever appropriate, the material has been treated in a comparative manner. In addition, numerous forms and precedents have been included and, in order to stimulate closer analysis of the subject, questions have been added at the end of each chapter.
