Clara has been through more in her twenty some years than most women can imagine.  One man comes into her life that changes her outlook.  The problem is, that man is married.  When his wife discovers the duplicity of their actions Clara's world tilts.  How can she overcome the obstacles that have been thrown on her as well as the past she has kept hidden.   

This is the full length novel that delves deeper into her life from the poem I wrote in 1996 'Unrequitted Love'.  The poem leaves the relationship that began up in the air when they meet again much later.  

Can Clara overcome the problems of her past to find love or will she continue down the same path that was laid out before her years before?

About the author

I grew up in the middle of no where. Population 1 person per 5 square miles. What do you do when there are so few people around? You sing to yourself while riding the bike, run when you are angry with your parents and get lost in the woods. I wrote my first poem when I was about 10. From there it was pure poetry with the thought, someday I'll write a book. It was the words of Kathleen Woodiweiss that propelled me. While I digested book after book, stories formed in my mind. It took another thirty years before I sat down and wrote Tikan Empire. The story pretty much wrote itself from book one all the way through book 6. Today I live with my husband and dog in Pennsylvania where I write, read, tend the flower beds and walk.
