The fourth installment of Hidden Thrones finds Jack and his fellow warriors up against a growing demonic incursion. Dante is gaining ground in D.C. and, on top of it all, there may be a traitor lurking in the shadows. Miracles are, however, on the rise as Conni and Grace lead the expanding prayer groups into battle. Meanwhile, the Mossad calls on Emily, leaving her with the decision of whether or not she is willing to accept, what has the potential to be, a very dangerous mission.
A frequent lecturer in Biblical Prophecy, Russ brings a lifetime of technical expertise to a story he believes may very well be the substance of tomorrow's headlines. "On the Edge of Time" began in 1994 as a 50-page short story named for the newspaper the protagonist writes for, "Chronicles of the End Times." After a few years, Russ resumed writing with Steve Mamchak and ultimately split the completed novel "On the Edge of Time" into two captivating parts.
Russ's new series HIDDEN THRONES is an exciting thriller pitting demons and angels in a battle for control of planet earth.
In the 1960's and 70's, Russ Scalzo was the front man for The Hallmarks, a band popular along the Jersey Shore, and scored a record contract with Mercury Records. After a life changing decision, he went from performing in bars to ministering in churches and touring the country with his band, Saved By Grace. He has written too many songs to count, including music for several original musicals. He is the co-founder and president of a non-profit Christian theater company based in New Jersey, Lighthouse Stage Productions.
Russ currently serves as a teacher and elder at Searchlight Church. He resides on the Jersey Shore with his wife of 40+ years. He is a father of three and grandfather of five.
Continues to be a fascinating story with interesting characters. What is interesting is the growth of the individuals. Growth that is experienced through their faith in God and their walk with Him. A good portrayal of those people seeking answers about the truth; others in pursuit of riches, power, and adoration; and, many outright deceived, who are ignorant of the spiritual battle being waged around them and destined to become a casualty succumbing to the lies of spiritual wickedness.
This whole series keep me on the edge of my seat. I just keep reading from one book to the next. I love the spiritual warfare undertone and the display of born-again Christians who were not wimps but their confidence in the Word of God. I love the fact Russ use supportive scriptures throughout the book. I enjoyed the characters that became alive and they developed throughout the series.
The author does an excellent job of keeping you engaged in the series. It is easy to follow the story and the characters are well developed. I really enjoy end time novels for the different ideas. If you haven't read the previous books in this series I strongly encourage you to start from the beginning. You will grow to love Jack and Emily, Frank and Dani as you get to know them.
I have read this series about 4 times now and I still learn something new everyday. I love the characters. I love the scripture. Many times throughout the books while I'm reading I stop and pray to the Lord. Very highly recommend. Just one warning: make sure you have plenty of time because once you start....you won't be able to put them down! God Bless and thank you for these awesome books! Can't wait for more!!!
A story filled with the intensity of life with eyes fixed on God's will. The war between good and evil is clear, easy to comprehend. The storyline has a steady pace yet things are happening in an urgent way. The characters are relatable, easy to like and care about. On to the next in series...
This series of books should be read by every Christian, or person interested in what the near future holds. They are truly great. The author must truly be blessed.
This was a wonderful book. I would recommend it to teenagers as well as older readers. The story is fascinating and I cannot wait to read the next one. And by the way, I love the ending.
I enjoy reading Christian fiction and this series does not disappoint. Power, intrigue, stubborness, pride and unbelief are traits we are all have a propensity towards. Free will is ours.Choose life.
I had read 3 in this series now. Each book is better. The presence of the Lord is real and although a story the characters are great and interesting. Read with prayer and a open mind and heart. God might use these stories to open your eyes.
The book was so mesmerizing that i feel that I broke My book reading record. I know i will continue reading these books because I am writing this review but anxious to read The next one. The series are more than awesome!
But seriously, hire an editor...I am captivated by the story until I have to stop and figure out what you meant because a word is missing or horribly misspelled.
This series remains the same for me, the good is excellent and I have some issues with some of the doctrine not a ton... but enough not to rate it 5 stars.
