I was fortunate enough to be a graduate student at Florida International University in Miami, FL where Doctor Pat Killian taught graduate courses within the TESOL (Teachers of English for Speakers of Other Languages) program (1998-2000). Her nonsensical approach to each class kept us in line while she delivered her wisdom for dealing with any issue that could crop up in the classroom. I purchased a copy of this book and took it with me to Nepal, where I served in the Peace Corps, so I could access answers to the many pesky questions on language use that came up during my service. Unfortunately, I donated my copy to the Peace Corps' library and then found myself unable to purchase another copy as the book was out of print upon my return. Her untimely death meant that the book might never be reprinted. I do wish that her estate would take the necessary steps to get it into print again.
