Insights of a Maverick Exit Advisor: The diary of 12 years of investment banking in Central Europe and the United States
“Insights of a Maverick Exit Advisor” is a collection of diary notes I wrote while selling my investment banking business in Europe and moving our family to the United States, to start a new career as an exit advisor and CEO coach.
These mini essays recorded my thoughts and experiences working with over one hundred and fifty entrepreneurs and CEOs over a time span of fifteen years, advising them on growing, funding and scaling their businesses.
In most cases, they were looking to harvest the value they built up in their companies by way of selling to a private equity group or a strategic buyer. In other instances, they wanted to create more robust businesses that could be handed over to family successors or professional management teams.I hope you enjoy reading these short stories as much as I did writing them.
