For fans of Phillipa Gregory, Sandy Taylor and others in this genre, this is a heart-breaking and heart-warming story of the lives of people living under the threat of war and its subsequent outbreak.
The book follows the changes in everyone's lives, especially the Morgan family and they're oldest daughter Sophie, who refuses to let go of her dreams despite the growing constraints of war.
The story encompasses the changes in the Welsh Valleys, and the experiences of people in London during The Blitz.
