A richly imagined children's adventure in which Sebastian moves to a new home where the bathroom can transport you back in time and to exotic places. The first time Sebastian closes the bathroom door he finds the floor has turned to sand and the room is now a beach. He digs down into the sand, but does not fall through the ceiling into the room below!
And that is only where the strange things start. There is part mystery, part adventure with the wonderful idea of a bathroom that thinks it is a kind of inverted TARDIS.
Not a book for young adults and adults, but a great one for primary school children (up to the age of 10 or 11).
