About the author

Michele E. Gwynn is a former online content writer and journalist. Having written for magazines and newspapers, she finally decided to go for her dream and wrote her first fiction novel Harvest in 2011. Since then, she has published in a variety of genres from science fiction to crime thrillers to paranormal and contemporary romance, even three children's books. She has won a variety of awards and achieved bestseller listings including Amazon UK and Amazon US (for Darkest Communion and Sophie's Wish). Michele’s series include the Harvest Trilogy, Angelic Hosts (now exclusive to Gwynn's Substack), the Checkpoint, Berlin Detective Series, Green Beret series, and the Soldiers of PATCH-COM. Given her passion for social issues and justice, she strives to create good but flawed characters that often fall short of their own ideals. A young mother, bereft over the cancer death of her young son, is befriended, in her darkest hour by a young man.
A prequel to the battle between the angels and the fallen, this is a well told short story that is at once tragic and hopeful. A novella, it's short enough to be perfect for your daily commute or a trip to the doctor.
Fair warning though, you'll want to get book two to find out where this budding romance and the brewing war will lead.
Definitely worth the read.

Uniquely well written story with twist that will keep you turning pages and aching for more. Awesome story and amazing writing. Michele Gwynn does a wonderful job of keeping you in suspense which keeps the pages turning. The story is unique and well written. She takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotional highs and lows and leave you wanting more. Truly a fantastic start to a new series that is sure to please anyone who loves the battle between good and bad, soul salvation, and angels. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

I loved reading this story that showed a mothers love. It shows what can happen when an angel is looking after you. Hannah went through the terrible pain of losing her son. Camael is an angel who escorts souls to the other side. I loved reading what beings them together. This is a great story and I cant wait to read more.

Great story! A bit sad but I guess the bad needed to happen for Hannah to meet Camael. It was a bit on the short side but it does give you plenty of good info on the characters which I loved.
Will def recommend to my friends for a great read about angels.

I simply loved this book. New idea, great job! I think this would be a great series!!!! Cam is simply dreamy and Hannah you can feel her pain and then her joy as Cam comforts her!!! Awesome!!!
