Jews and Christians: Exploring the Past, Present, and Future

Rate this book
It has been said that there will be no peace among the nations until there is peace among the religions of the world. "Jews and Christians" records the reflections and dialogue of nine distinguished scholars, who by exploring past and present relationships between Christians and Jews, are enhancing the search for new means of communication and the development of a future in which Jewish-Christian bonds are stronger and closer. Eight pages of illustrations represent the historical visions of Christianity and Judaism as envisioned by architects and sculptors through the centuries.

I read a library copy of this book so I didn't get to mark it up like I would have liked. Lots of interesting chapters by a variety of Bible scholars and theologians. The D. Moody Smith chapter on the Gospel of John was particularly interesting - as well as an annotated bib provided as an appendix.
