Matt DeCoursey gives an overview of how he became successful in an easy-to-read format. It would be worth the time of a budding entrepreneur to pick up this book and glean some of the lessons from one who has been there and done that.
The content is appropriate for all ages, but the energy of the book feels to me like it would be best suited to teens and young adults.

This book is an honest, straightforward guide to the ups and downs of starting your own business. The author, Matt DeCoursey, has obviously paid his entrepreneurial dues. Starting with little more than an American Express credit card and an office in his spare bedroom, DeCoursey created a highly lucrative online ticket company, which was to be the first of his many successful companies.
“Million Dollar Bedroom” gives the reader the benefit of the author’s personal experiences and the lessons he learned, sometimes the hard way. In this book, he shares the secrets of his many successes, but more importantly, he candidly discusses the details of his failures. Far from being afraid or embarrassed by his blunders, DeCoursey takes his mistakes and hones them into profitable learning tools.
One of the things I like most about this author is that he genuinely writes for his readers. Gone are the clever made up words and overly complicated theories that plague many business start up books. Instead there are clear, concise guidelines and common sense approaches to problem solving and business planning. DeCoursey also has an open, humorous style that makes this book enjoyable as well as informative. It’s a great read for anyone thinking of starting a business or for those who already have.
