Live Your Life As Good As It Gets

Rate this book
Reminiscing - we all do it yet our memories break and it's amazing how one fragment sits with one person and another sits with the other.

This book captures a forgotten world... those of us who reminisce will always remember the good times, but this tells of what growing up in the 90s was all about. The last golden generation before virtual reality took over the lives of Britain's youth when getting your kicks took place on the streets rather than on a smartphone. And you know what, summers WERE longer, the weather WAS always warm and sunny, the music was better, football still had a soul and there was always good something on TV.

This book captures it all... Back in the 90s, growing up in Wales meant your dreams consisted of two possibilities. Play rugby or be in a band... the author embraces both and the tales follow his experiences, highs, lows and inexplicable goings on... It captures it all perfectly.

It was a pleasure to both read and live this book.

Well done

A lovely read for someone with terrible long term memory (Eric's on Victoria rd, I would never have remembered that until now!)
You're a great raconteur Brad, I was right back there at 14 years old with you. It'll be amazing for Ethan to read this and learn about his dad as a person. Well done, love from The Dancers best friend/the third wheel in that relationship for every Saturday night you were together!

I am writing this whilst I am looking for work in London as my current job is to help with horses and sheep in Anglesey. I have a strong passion for working with a team and a good company with excellent quality management skills and a strong knowledge of pigs with a wide range of skills for both children with a variety of backgrounds ranging from a small scale to the pub.
