Shudder when the dead children of the pond refuse to leave without their friends on a dark night. Spend the night in a haunted train car in Indianapolis' Union Station! Experience a visit from a murdered doctor who still makes house calls! These ghost stories are a few of Indiana's darkest and most spectacular ghosts. You will read about these spirits and many others in this exciting book. Many of these places are open to the public and can be visited regularly! This book includes stories Indianapolis / Marion Co, Westfield and Noblesville / Hamilton Co, Anderson / Madison Co, Hendricks Co., New Albany / Floyd Co, Jeffersonville / Jefferson Co. and many high quality pictures of sites, people and possible hauntings. These real ghost stories have been researched in great detail by true believers with a vast background in historical research.
This book's title is somewhat misleading. It's not a haunted road book, it's actually about ghosts and legends in Central Indiana. There are a number of interesting tales interwoven with historical places. If you enjoy paranormal tales you will enjoy this well researched book. The authors have visited many of the locations and give both tales of lore and their experiences when visiting the various locations. I just wish more haunted road tales would've been included.
