A novel of Joseph, sold as a slave by his brothers. Joseph is carried into Egypt and spends many years as a slave or in prison before God makes him an instrument of salvation. But Joseph readily forgives his brothers and repays treachery with love. He changes from taking to giving, from dependence to independence, from arrogance to humility. This is the dramatic re-telling of a great Biblical epic. (Book one of the Nephite Chronicles)
I loved this book and couldn't put it down until it was done. I cried as one of my VERY favorite biblical characters died and was interested to see the possible inner-workings of the family.
