The final book for the year. An easy, amusing assemblage of funny, poignant, entertaining & witty stories & reminiscences of the author’s own childhood. I don’t know John B Keane as an author but this brief venture into his easy writing style encourages me to find other works by him.

Although some of the short stories were interesting or hilarious, I was missing the spirit of Christmas that I was expecting to find in this book.
