In the seventh book in the Ella and Owen series, the dragon twins meet unicorn twins who just cannot seem to get along.
On their journey home, Ella and Owen come across unicorn twins who each believe they are better than their twin. The dragons are swept up in the unicorns’ quibble, participating in crazy competitions to prove which twin is the best.
Will Ella win and prove to her brother that she is the better twin? Can Owen show Ella that he is the best? And if they are so busy arguing with each other, will they ever be able to find their way home?
A set of dragon twins overhears arguing and goes to investigate. It's a set of unicorn twins debating whether girls or boys are better. The dragons pair up with the unicorns in a bitter rivalry and a series of competitions ensues. Light on substance and not very engaging.
This is my least favorite so far of the series. It was all boy vs. girls, which is a rhetoric I’d rather leave in the past. Even though it resolves in the end to a “let’s work together” theme, it still bugged.
