Many subjects are covered that were not in the first, such as susceptibility tests, antiviral and anti protozoan agents, venereal disease, gram-negative sepsis, infection in the compromised host, and Mycoplasma infection. Other new chapters pull together information previously scattered, such as Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Serratia and various Pseudomonas infections. The tabular material and the index as helpful as possible.
