Started with book off with trepidation, Since the end of the last book wasn't too lighthearted, but getting through the first part of the book was a very interesting feeling, to say the least. The middle part of the journey lead me down some twists and turns that I was never really expecting, especially when it came to certain journeys within each of the characters. The quest was one I wasn't too fond of due to the track record of the last book, but I am glad that the journey was not too perilous. The middle part of the book is what I found most interesting, and the most compelling in regards to the settings, characters, progression, and the mystery of it all. The final section of the book let us down relatively easy, and had a satisfying climax, albeit one that I was not expecting at all. The end left me a bit off, I will say. The story did not go where I expected and I can't say that it was either good or bad, it was just different. In all I enjoyed it. The last part of the trilogy is up next, and I can't wait to tell you all about it.
