The first truly immersive Virtual Reality system has just been announced. Made by NERV, the EVA-series immersion pods promise a Better Than Life experience, unlike anything that's been seen before. Gone are clunky goggles and wired controls. Now you simply lie down, and the machine does all the work.

Following up on their previous hit games, NERV has created the first true VRMMORPG, a sci-fi offering called Dreams Amongst the Stars. Because of the impressive display he made during the closed Beta of the game, one player has been offered a contract as a paid streamer, and the chance to play the game on the highest difficulty possible. Watch as he forges his own path, into the black.

I'm a rookie author, looking to write stories that I enjoy writing. Not gonna get awards, but honestly, I'm happy with each and every person that reads my work.

Stuart is a sci-fi and anime geek, who dabbles in tabletop and video gaming. He enjoys cosplaying and has gone to DragonCon annually since 2009. Frozen Soul is his first book.

It is a sad, sad day when you finally break down and realize that you will never have the life you wanted, never do the things you wished to do, and never see the things you wanted to see. All because of a stupid lack of lightsabers.

I was a 26 y/o college student at Armstrong Atlantic State University, as a theater major. Went to school for a while before, dropped out, tried to go back, dropped out.. Not much to say other than the fact that I'm a laid back guy, and the only drama I like is the kind that's on the stage.

If I act like an idiot, or do anything to offend you, chances are it is not intentional, and I'm being oblivious. In that case, hit me upside the head, and tell me, because I don't catch subtle hints.

Let's Not Reward Rape/Murder, Kay?

The title here says it all. There's some decent craft in there, maybe even a little talent, but not enough. It's mostly a simplistic, juvenile, and frankly gross little piece of wish-fulfillment. The narrative literally rewards the main character for murdering a woman after (what was up until that point) a rape fantasy. Justify it all you want, but that's messed up. And it gets worse. If anything, this story just highlights how awful that kind of game plot really is.

Competently written but ugly content

I was fine with this book right up until the scene where the main charactet kills a female NPC he had sex with while she was quote "cumming her brains out". Serious squick not helped by the character going on to seduce and kill someone in almost the next scene. Just plain gross.

Well worth the money

I’m coming to this from it’s Royal Road origins, and was more than happy to pay the price for it. The best part of reading the kindle version over the RR one, is the fact that the escape part one chapter is there. The web version had it removed due to ‘complaints’ from people, who I suspect would read Fifty Shades or other ‘Steamy’ content. The explicit content is rather tame compared to most that cover that subject matter, so I considered a non-issue and enjoyed the story.

The first book is basically the setting up for the rest of the series, as book two is where things kick into gear and keeps escalating. If you’re coming to this cold I recommend reading the books available, before going looking for the RR content as other than the missing chapter it’s all the same.

Alright

This story has an interesting premise but I feel like there was too much of a sense of urgency with the whole thing. The ending was pretty abrupt and the entire plot could've been more fleshed out.

Hm

A short book but well written.
Worth the price. The first 10% is very similar to another series. After that it changes
Try it. Only 99p after all

DNF.....Not into Rape then murder fantasy stories.

Note to self.. Make a new title along the lines of... "WTF was the Author Thinking" or maybe "Some people are Truly sick in the head"...

This is a very poorly told story. YOu can tell this is one of the author's first times writing anything.

This would be ok as a short story on royal road, but nothing more.
