X-Files fanfiction, novel, 77,567 words. Season 8 rewritten to suit X-Files fans not CC. Covered all the bases and tasted so good. Sk/K, M/K. I loved this story because the death of Alex totally ruined X-Files for me and I stopped watching any episode that didn't have him in it. Happy even to see him as a ghost. This story made those unnecessary.
Entire scene in parking garage at the Hoover was set up by three factions using alien bounty hunters masquerading as the principals in order to film the death of Alex Krycek. Two think they are killing the real Alex Krycek but the rebel faction but in their ringer so that everyone would think he was dead freeing him up to work more effectively in the war.
