Rate this book
Jo Kneale is back with another book full of ideas and inspiration for using the Danish art of Hygge to create a life filled with happiness, laughter, love and cosy feelings for other people and the world.
In How to Hygge Your Summer she helps us to think about the things we need to make our summer a happier time, the places we could go and the people we could see. Nothing too expensive, nothing too difficult. Just a chance to examine our lives and get the most out of them.

I love Jo Kneale and I’ve read all her books. I hope she keeps them coming! I embraced this one in the garden on my lounge, drinking tea and watching the hummers. She always adds recipes and fun ideas to try out. I’m always sorry each book comes to an end.

Hygge in the Summer? If you think hygge is all about candles, cake and quilts prepare to be enlightened. Jo Kneale's writing style is like having her in the room chatting to you, waving her arms about in her enthusiasm and rearranging your furniture to demonstrate her point. I love it.
Like her first book, 50 Ways to Hygge the British Way, this one is very easy to read. I raced through it, murmuring, "yes, yes, yes," at each suggestion, but now I shall re-read it, take it more slowly, and do the homework. Yes, there is homework!
