Describes the effects of radiation on the human body, investigating the relationship between radiation and cancer, genetic damage, and other disseases, and evaluates specific radiation-exposure situations
John Gofman, a cardiologist and physicist, was a long-time voice for the viewpoint that there is no threshold below which radiation is not harmful to the human body, and that we need to prevent as much exposure as possible. He used impeccable scientific method to reach his conclusions. This book delineates these conclusions and how he reached them. I believe that they are still current, but have not kept up enough to know for sure.
