I'm currently on page 200 of this book and I can't fathom how this is a series of books that virtually nobody knows about, with 3 ratings and 0 text reviews on here, aside from this one. Of course, I gather that a lot of it has to do with the fact that these books have long been off the mass market. I only discovered this series because I found a copy of the first book for a dollar at a novelty store.

The whole UFO conspiracy thing is pretty hot these days. And, aside from that, this Bischoff guy is a fantastic writer. When it comes to a government conspiracy thriller, this author is as good as Dan Brown or James Rollins. Better to me, in fact, because he doesn't include any preposterous Hollywood action/escape scenes like Robert Langdon jumping out of a helicopter with a tarp as a parachute. Those are the things that make me want to put a book down for good. So far, nothing in this series has been absurd or even hard to believe.

The writing so far (in the first book and what I've read of this one) has been far more mature than what I had expected. The research is clearly impeccable, and the suspense is masterfully structured.

All I can say is, if you're a fan of conspiracy thrillers, specifically of the UFO variety, hunt these books down. There are a handful of all three for sale on Amazon. I'm glad I got mine while I still could.
