I really loved this! It made me feel nostalgic even though I wasn't read this exact picture book as a kid! I liked the illustrations, which were not art you'd find in a museum, but pen and watercolor, and I thought they really suited the book! The story is straightforward and you get only a sentence or two per picture so a kid could read this themselves too! Recommended!
