Rate this book
There are sooooo many loopholes and flaws to the standardized testing system in our nation it is ridiculous! This huge test that has such an emense impact on what college you get accepted to, what career path you are able to go down, what scholarships you are eligible for, what your future might hold... and so much more, yet it is flawed! Find out how you can maximize your score and open up a lot of doors for your future. Join us in learning the Things They Never Tell You About Standardized Tests: Become A Study Ninja!

Standardized tests DO NOT measure how smart you are, they DO NOT measure how resourceful you are, the DO NOT evaluate your thought process, they DO NOT analyse your reasoning skills. They attempt to do all of those things but fail woefully at accomplishing any of them!

Lets look at a quick example:

(This is a question I simply made up, it is not a real test question)
When did the United States officially enter WWII?
A. 1940 B. 1941 C. 1945 D. 1950

If this test measured your knowledge - you would either know the answer or not, if you knew the correct answer you would get points, if you don't know the answer you would lose points or not receive points. However there is a strong possibility - using tools that we will teach you, for you to choose the correct answer without having any knowledge of when the US entered the war. Standardized tests do not effectively measure what you know!

If the test was measuring how resourceful you were, it would allow you to "Use Your Resources!" Phone a friend, look it up, ask an authority - but they don't. Your stuck in a room and not allowed to talk with only your own brain as a resource!

And although the tests are probably the most successful at measuring thought process and reasoning skills, it is possible to travel down a logical and understandable train of thought and still get the answer wrong! So even reasoning skills and thought process are under evaluated!

In this book we are going to give you tips on how to improve your score by being prepared for what the test is going to bring you. Look for additional titles by StudyNinjas.com to learn more tricks on beating the test and becoming a Study Ninja!
