Andrew Hunter is the best thing that ever happened to me … and the worst. Sexy, intelligent, and masculine, he checks all the boxes on the ‘man of my dreams’ wishlist. There’s one he needs a ring before we do the thang. I thought I knew what true love would look and feel like, but he’s showing me I have a lot to learn. Will our sacrifice be worth the ultimate prize in the end? Or will fear keep me from the one thing I’ve always wanted?
Andrew After love and tragedy crushed my spirit and split my soul, I found myself left to care for two small children. Forced to piece myself back together for them, I focused on career and family. I never expected to meet the one woman who would complete me. The promise I made in desperation keeps me from doing the one thing we both want most. Will my vow cost me the love of my life, or can we make it down the aisle?
Shyla Colt is the sassy USA Today Bestselling author of the popular series Kings of Chaos and Dueling Devils M.C. This genre-hoppers stories feature three of her favorite things: strong females, pop culture, and alternate routes to happy ever after. Listening to her Romani soul, she pens from the heart, allowing the dynamic characters, eccentric interests, and travels as a former flight attendant to take her down untraveled roads. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, this mid-west girl is proud of her roots. She used her hometown and the surrounding areas as a backdrop for a number of books. So, if you're a Buckeye, keep an eye out for familiar places.
As a full-time writer, stay at home mother, and wife, there's never a dull moment in her household. She weaves her tales in spare moments and the evenings with a cup of coffee or tea at her side and the characters in her head for company.
This story is different in that the hero wants to wait until marriage. Yes -- you heard me correctly. When was the last time you've read that statement in a book. Though there seemed to be blurred lines in what doesn't constitute sex -- if you know what I mean. Doesn't matter -- I still loved the story and the book covers of this author. Third and final story of the series.
Drew's mama brought him up proper, “one thing you should get used to with me is being treated like the queen you are.” I really liked this book, Drew was so sweet, and he cared deeply for Willow and his little girls.
This is my fav in the bunch-a-bloom series. Great twist with Drew being a Christian rapper and caring for his daughters that are biologically his. I know these are novellas but boy, how I wish they were longer......the storyline is just that good
Willow is feeling a little lonely lately. With her present drought in the relationship department and her best friends pairing off , she's starting to come to the conclusion that her chances of finding her "One" are slim. Drew is also looking for "The One ". He's had a rough patch but things are smoothing out for him now. Maybe these two can find what they're looking for in each other. I loved Willow and Drew as a couple, but I loved Drew as my next book boyfriend ❤️. He was imperfectly perfect. He wasn't a billionaire, but could support his family. He had a past that he overcame and was looking for the right woman to plan and live his future with. I liked Willow but Drew made this book for me. This was a really sweet romance and I give 4 stars!
I admit I'm a Shyla Colt fan and I am always on click away from every book she writes. And this book is no exception. Drew is a special kind of man, every women's wish. And Willow is exactly what he needs. Their commitment to one another and their families is unparalleled. The trust and faith they have is felt through the pages. This is a couple everyone can cheer for.
This book is a short quick read. It was good for what it was. But I felt it was rushed and we miss a lot due to that. I also feel like some stuff was left unfinished. It needed to be longer for things to be explained more. I felt I was left hanging even though there was a HEA.
Love this series. I love how they meet and the openness they share. No time for secrets, games and lies. Willow and Andrew come together as adults should. Great to see Olive and Petunia again. This dynamic group is growing so beautifully. I hope there is more even if it is each of these families growing.
This was a good finish to the series. I love the no sex connection. The twins were adorable. Drew was sexy and grounded willow was strong and real. Some drama but nothing over the top. This was a good ending to the series
This was a sweet easy read love story of a man wanting to complete his family by adding the love of his life. With that said the author kind of left somethings up in the air, which I will assume will be in another book.
A man with a purpose, and a women trying to find her place. Made for an interesting journey as the seek to establish a new purpose together. There were real life problems and concerns but the were handled in a way that God showed through. Loved this.
A good story to read but with a lot of mistakes throughout
I am giving this book a four star rating because this story had a lot of mistakes throughout the book. It was a great story but the mistakes made it hard to read this story.
Pretty good story line. It was nice to have a story that the couple waited until they were married to seal the deal . It offered a fresh perspective on dating.
I enjoy this series. This book was the best yet. It explored some deep issues. Drew was a keeper. Please write more with these people. They are interesting.
This was a super sweet story that was a bit different. I'm removing a star simply because I don't know what the outcome was for a feature of the story.
A different twist for me as far as romance but it makes you think of the possibility of love without the main course so yeah I definitely enjoyed and recommend!
