Lenny and Mel's Summer Vacation

Rate this book
Summer has finally arrived, and Lenny and Mel have big to do as little as possible. Unfortunately, their parents have other ideas. Between summer book reports, a visit to Animal Town, and a family vacation with Grandma, how will the boys ever find time to do nothing? Instead they learn about vacation hats, make lunch turkeys, invent new car games, and find out what hot dogs are made of (well, sort of). It's not as much fun as doing nothing, but it still beats being in gym class.

Much like the Wimpy Kid books with typical dry kid humor and lots of silly illustrations, twins Lenny and Mel really want to do nothing, nothing at all, for their summer vacation. That would make for a boring book so of course things happen. Probably for a slightly younger audience than the Wimpy Kids..

Hilarious! A good choice for kids just a bit too young for the Wimpy Kid series- same tone, same humor, short and sweet :)
