Bart Shannon is the sole survivor of a herding party bushwhacked by rustlers on the Arizona trail.

Rumours soon circulate and Shannon realises that a crooked sheriff, who goes by the name of Zena Clayburn, has sworn out a warrant, charging him with conspiracy in the rustling of the herd.

Ruthless and aggressive, Zena is determined to become the richest landowner in the state, and refuses to let anyone get in her way, especially Bart Shannon.

Through instilling fear and terror amongst other landowners around her, Zena forces the smaller landowners to either sell out, or face a brutal murder.

Horrified by Zena’s increasing power gained through heartless brutality, Shannon becomes determined to put a stop to her greed.

He insists on continuing his vow to hunt down the men who killed his companions and left him for the dead...

Despite his smooth gun ability and courageous perseverance however, Shannon’s future becomes cloudy as his life is put in jeopardy.

Through a hard struggle on his own initially, he finally gains support and a vicious war begins.

Will Shannon be able to pull through and achieve what he intended to do?

Cattle rustling & Murder/One Man's Vengence/A Witch/A Rifleshot

JG has penned a cattle rustling western with a twist. The lone survivor of a group herding cattle to the rail head make it to a small ranch for help. He recovers and helps a small town nearby. Then he moved on to the ranch where the hustlers come from. The ranch is owned by a witch who wants everything not tied down. The war begins. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

She Devil

An evil female has complete control of a town and everything else around it. Complete trail herds are stolen if they are driven through it near the area and her hired guns control the law. One man vows to do something about this after he survives the loss of his herd. This is a great, fast moving Western. I highly recommend this author.

Too Juvenile For My Taste

Characters had no depth. Story left a lot to be desired. Sorry, I hope your next effort will be better, I'll try you again when I see a new book after a couple of years. Don't quit just read a see how to develop your story.
