Cursed

Rate this book
This is the second installment of "Damaged". This book concludes the story of Cain and Julia.

Cain Adams fought daily to be a better man. He no longer wanted to be the fugitive and wanderer his name dictated he be. He managed to create a somewhat normal life with Julia until his past came from the shadows and reminded him he'd never be anything more than the sum of his sins. He tried to keep that part of his world away from Julia because he needed her to remain untouched by his choices. He thought he'd perfected living in two separate worlds until one fateful night when they collided. Tragedy damaged every aspect of his life and nothing remained untouched after the dust settled.

Julia Easton knew the type of man Cain was when she decided to give her heart to him. She was aware of some of the horrible things he was capable of, but convinced herself he was inherently good inside. She believed him when he told her he only did bad things when left with no other choice. She was so wrapped up in seeing the good in him that she never saw the darkness creep into her own soul.

Both of them changed and neither saw it coming. Will the bond they have be strong enough or will the pressures of Cain's life prove too much for them to survive? Can Julia save his soul without losing hers or will they both be cursed for eternity by his evil deeds?

I obtained my formal training from life. I have a degree in General Smart Assery and I continue my education everyday with sarcasm and a pinch of humor.
On a serious note, I've always considered myself a daydreamer. My mind often wonders to imaginary worlds with imaginary people who feel just as real as you and I. I never entertained the possibility of writing because, quite frankly, I never thought it was something I'd be good at. One day there was so much chatter between the characters in my head that I decided to write it all down just to get it out. One could say that's when the light bulb went off for me. It felt amazing to purge the stories from my bones. The more I write, the more I imagine. Cheesy? Yes. True? Absolutely.
