On what had seemed like a regular school day, an epidemic that nobody saw coming suddenly takes hold and spreads quickly through the classrooms, hallways and other areas. Hundreds are quickly turned, from willing students, into the mindless, shuffling dead. With hopes of survival quickly fading, Jade and Elise, two friends who have somehow escaped the first wave of death, must somehow find their way to safety.
