An entertaining and extremely helpful compendium of advice for all-natural cleaning, much of it gleaned from more than 200 years of The Old Farmer's Almanac . Offers recipes for household cleaners easily made at home from non-toxic ingredients, and gives tips on cleaning virtually everything in the house, from carpets to air conditions to children's ears. Includes humorous side bars on cleaning milestones, determining your cleaning personality, and mother's spit as an all- purpose cleanser, plus two-color wood-block illustrations. Annotation c. So far this book is great with natural cleaning remedies and it has a cute humor to it. I loved this book! I will keep this book as a great reference to simple cleaning supplies just like our parents and grandparents used. We don't need all of those expensive special cleaners that kill the environment, natural inexpensive cleaners like baking soda work great!!
