Separated from the Earth Corps, Cadence has arrived at the magical island of Antillia, where Poseidon has gathered the Pantheon of Light. Although these ancient gods want to save the human race, Odin and Aries have brought together the Dark Pantheon, an assembly of the most evil ancient immortals, and they are using the Babylonian Stones to outflank the forces of good. Their victory seems almost a foregone conclusion.
But a sliver of hope remains.
Ancient armies await the call to battle, needing only a summons by their former commanders, and other allies are available…if they can be rescued from Hades’ hellish domain. The Earth Corps members must go to the far corners of the world, and beyond, if they are to acquire the aid they need.
Time is running out, though, for the enemy is on the move, and the Blood Syndicate and NATO forces will soon be overwhelmed. War is spreading across the planet, and the Earth Corps must race to bring their forces to bear before the human race is wiped out. Once again, the team is divided, outmatched, and overwhelmed as it fights its ultimate battles in the streets of London and Rome. Can the new gods defeat the old gods and save the human race? Or has the human race finally seen its end?
Susanne Lambdin received a 'based in part' screen credit for writing a portion of ST:TNG Eps. 76 entitled FAMILY. Her series, Dead Hearts, is a fantasy/supernatural/horror for young adults. The series of 5 books revolves around a group of teenagers on Pike's Peak fighting zombies, vampires, and demons.
Morbid Hearts Forsaken Hearts Vengeful Hearts Defiant Hearts Immortal Hearts - now for sale!
Her new high fantasy series involves Taliesin, a strong female character, set in a war torn world where magic is outlawed. It is intended for MYA, however, adults will enjoy this new trilogy as well.
Realm of Magic Trilogy: Seeker of Magic - now for sale Mistress of Magic (due out soon) Queen of Magic (due out soon)
Steampunk ship, magic island, zombie pirates --- sounds like it can't possibly go together, but Lambdin makes it work. She is wonderful seamstress, laying out these stories, which are propelled by the character. They're fast paced, great battle scenes (who isn't fighting?) and now she throws in the ancient gods of Odin, Poseidon, Ares and Osiris and the kraken, sea monster. I think that's the end of this 5 book series, but it was sooooooooo much more than zombie fiction. I'm kinda sad it's over.
I only wish that there was another story in the serious because the action packed adventure had drawn me in immediately. I’m happy I discovered this series and hope to read more books by Susan in the future!💗
I love Susanne’s writing. I picked up the next installment at a comic and enjoyed the continuing story. The action picks up right where it left off and leads to what might be the final battle. Another great chapter on her unique twist of the zombie apocalypse.
