Saleh Ibn Fawzan Ibn 'Abdullaah al-Fawzan was born in Saudia Arabia in the city of Buraidah. He learned Quran from Imam Sheikh Hamood Ibn Sulayman at-Talal. He was a student of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, initially studying at the faculty of Sharia and graduating in 1960; he later on earned his master's and doctorate from the same university, focusing on Fiqh.
He studied at the hands of a number of prominent scholars and jurists such as, Sheikh Abdur Rahman as-Sa'di, Sheikh Abdul-Azeez Ibn Baz, Sheikh Muhammad al-Ameen ash-Shanqeetee.
He is currently the Imam, khateeb and teacher of the Amir Mut'ib Ibn 'Abdul-'Azeez Masjid, in al-Malzar in Riyadh. He is also a member of the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Issuing Fatawa in Saudia Arabia.
Some of his notable publications are, Al-irshaad ilas-Saheehil-I'tiqaad, Sharh al-'Aqeedatul Waasitiyyah, Al-Khuthab Al-Minbariyyah fil Munasabat Al-'Ashriyyah.
