They’re hot. They’re ruthless. They’re a**holes. These lawyers are winners in court and cocky in bed. They know what they want and how to get it. But even the most high-powered suit can be brought to his knees.
Bad Bitch They call me the Bad Bitch. A lesser woman might get her panties in a twist over it, but me? I'm the one who does the twisting. Whether it's in the courtroom or in the bedroom, I've never let anyone - much less a man - get the upper hand.
Except for that jerk attorney Lincoln Granade. He's dark, mysterious, smoking hot and sexy as hell. He's nothing but a bad, bad boy playing the part of an up and coming premiere attorney. I'm not worried about losing in a head to head battle with this guy. But he gets me all hot and bothered in a way no man has ever done before. I don't like a person being under my skin this much. It makes me want to let go of all control, makes me want to give in. This dangerous man makes me want to submit to him completely, again, and again, and again...
Hardass I cave in to no one. My hardass exterior is what makes me one of the hottest defense lawyers around. It's why I'm the perfect guy to defend the notorious Bayou Butcher serial killer - and why I'll come out on top. Except this new associate I've hired is unnaturally skilled at putting chinks in my well-constructed armor. Her brazen talk and fiery attitude make me want to take control of her and silence her - in ways that will keep both of us busy till dawn. She drives me absolutely 100% crazy, but I need her for this case. I need her in my bed. I need her to let loose the man within me who fights with rage and loves with scorching desire...
Total D*ck I’m your classic skirt chaser. A womanizer. A total d*ck. My reputation is dirtier than a New Orleans street after a Mardi Gras parade. I take unwinnable cases and win them. Where people see defeat, I see a big fat paycheck. And when most men see rejection, it’s because the sexiest woman at the bar has already promised to go home with me.
But Scarlett Carmichael is the one person I can’t seem to conquer. This too-cool former debutante has it all—class, attitude, and a body that begs to be worshiped. I’ve never worked with a person like her before—hell, I’ve never played nice with anyone before in my life, and I’m not about to start with her. This woman wasn’t meant to be played nicely with. It’s going to be dirty. It’s going to be hot. She’s about to spend a lot of time with the biggest d*ck in town. And she’s going to love every minute of it…

I only read Bad Bi**h, on my Nook while my Kindle charged! Absolutely loved this powerful page turner. Evangeline fixes the corrupt cases of powerful men with dirty money. As a new attorney she lived in mortal fear of the psychopaths she was forced to defend. Currently, as the best defense attorney in the city, Evan's paydays are in the stratosphere. Now her path has crossed with Lincoln, the AD from Louisiana who is prosecuting, Castille, the man Evan is defending! Leon, the MOB Boss has threatened Evan's life if she defends Castille. And the reason why is mind blowing! So her only choice is to throw the case and betray Lincoln, a man she has now fallen in love with. Now what?
I loved this series of stories! They were almost perfect...except for the last one. Kennedy and Scarlett's story really annoyed me as Scarlett's character didn't seem to be consistent and Kennedy just seemed like an immature idiot as times. The last story is ok but the first two are great!
I read each of these stories when they were individually released and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed them and anticipated the next book. The story that they each held was awesome. Sizzling hot sexy with a great legal thriller mixed in. All of them turned out to be excellent reads that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
In the first book we meet Evangeline "Evan" Pallida and Lincoln Granade. Evan is a hard as nails defense attorney and honestly a difficult character to like at first. Lincoln is a hotshot US Attorney and regardless of how sexy he finds Evan, he plans to bury her client. I don't want to give away too much on the legal case but if you enjoy your romance a bit dirty with a good story to go with it, this one's for you.
In the second book we neet Wash and Caroline. Wash Granade is a ruthless defense attorney and his always in control attitude makes him perfect for his current client. That control is being tested by his newest associate Caroline Montreat. She's feisty, sassy, and sexy! His no fraternization policy is being tested daily. When she earns the right to work on his new high profile case with him, try as he might, he can't stay away from her. And when the case turns deadly, he'll do anything to keep her safe!
And finally we get Kennedy Granade's story. He's a party animal and womanizer but he's also one of the best civil litigators around. Those cases others say can't be won he wins. The last thing he wants to do is work with a pompous stuffy firm on a case. That is until he realizes what the eventual paycheck could be! Scarlett Carmichael is nothing like the women he's usually with but after working with her he discovers this debutante might just be the woman he needs. As the case they are working takes several deadly twists and turns so does their relationship. It's hot. It's dirty. It's vital!
Overall - 3.5 stars Bad Bitch-3 stars The book starts with Lincoln and Evan. I liked Evan as a character, cause she was smart, bold and fearless. Although some of her antics got on my nerves. The story of her survival and overcoming her fear made her relatable. Linc on the other hand, though strong, felt a little too violent. The plot was nicely woven.
Hardass-4 stars This book follows Caroline and Washington Granade's story. Caroline is a bold associate with very little control on her mouth and that made her very endearing to me. Wash was a hardass with a clear head(at times). The mystery was very gripping.
Total D*ck-3.5 stars This is Kennedy and Scarlett's story. Scarlett was a very uptight and prim women which sort of made her a little too proper. But once she opened up she was a lot easy to like. Kennedy on the other hand felt like a big baby. His childish antics and jokes were hard to get past. He wasn' t very likable. The ending was something to look forward to.
*Bad Bitch - *4 stars - I didn't like the heroine for most of this book, because she was...well, a bitch, but I did like the story.
*Hardass - *4 stars - Really liked this one, but it ended so abruptly without explaining what happened to Luke, or about Wash's injuries. The epilogue just bypassed all that!
*Total Dick - *4 stars - Finally Lincoln & Wash make up, although we don't get to witness it, just hear that it happened.
Overall, I really liked the books, and would definitely recommend them.
I didn't read this series, I devoured it. BRILLIANT!! Great characters, exciting and thrilling storylines, NOT alpha makes and strong determined women. Fantastic dialogue, a MUST read seriez.
