This was a third in a collection of Oz books and was as delighful as the first two. I loved the creativity Baum showed even though many of the characters and settings were familiar from previous books. In this episode, Dorothy travels into the earth by way of an earthquake vs transport by way of a tornado. True to expectations she has a few loyal, brave and wonderful friends and they have extraordinary adventures with weird characters that are potentially deadly. My favorite thing about Baum is his creativity and ability to carry me along with the adventurers.
