This is good. If you are thinking of getting an Irish Tattoo, or just want to brush up on your Irish Phrases, this is a great source book. Audrey has been working on her Irish for many years, and has a good grasp of regional variations. I'm proud to know her, and proud to have this volume on my shelf.

This was a pretty good book with a lot of information on creating a good Irish Gaelic Tattoo. The Author put a lot of work into this little handbook. I wish there had been some images or illustrations of Tattoos that were well don and accurate. I gave 3 start because the information was very good, but I just felt like there was something missing.

I loved the glossary of Irish-Gaelic words in the back.

I thought the book was excellent. I wanted to read it as a reference book, to add accurate information for a novel I am writing. It really served its purpose. I found a link provided also extremely helpful. Well set out. Useful to have an index. I would have preferred more illustrations, but overall I was very happy.

Any book that seeks to raise awareness of and access to minority languages is a great one already to me. This one is great because it gives a lot of great information for lay people, including excellent translations for the tattoos that millions of Irish Americans might be considering.
