After a fishing accident, thirteen-year-old Walker finds himself transported back in time to the Michigan Territory of 1824, where he becomes friends with his ancestors.
Full of Michigan history! I loved the writing of the book and how Robert incorporated so much history that is true. I think it's an amazing way to get young readers to learn about the state of Michigan without even realizing. The story line is catchy too.
I loved this book, I grew up in Rochester, MI and it kind of brought history alive in a way. You start to believe what you're reading, and can become the main character :D
