Genre: Fantasy - science fiction
Award: N/A
Audience: 1st through 3rd grade

A. This is science fiction because it is the story of a child going to Mars, so it is something that may happen in some future.
B. We have to suspend disbelief with the setting and plot, as going to Mars in your own rocket ship is currently not possible. Also, bringing your own supplies and snacks is not possible either.
C. This is magic in the real world, because the girl lives a normal life on earth until she decides she wants to go to Mars in her own rocket ship.
D. The theme is that a child's imagination can take them anywhere.

A little girl plans out everything she'll need for her trip to Mars while her parents are sleeping. ~Yawn!~ A bit boring.

Illustrations are okay - nothing special.
