A litter of Yorkshire Terrier puppies are ready to be adopted. The puppies are concerned about leaving their siblings and Big Daddy. One puppy shares her experiences in being chosen to go home with a new family. She gives a descriptive account of her adventures with her new family and what she observes around her. She learns that she has a new Mommy, Daddy and four human sisters. She longs to be loved and to be given a special name.

About the author

Lisa Overcash is a Wellness Coach, Yoga Instructor and Thai Yoga Practitioner.
She worked professionally as a Recreation Therapist and homeschooled her children for 22 years. She has a Master of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from North Carolina State University. Lisa’s love of children and dogs led her to write this story. My Fur-ever Family was inspired by the adoption of a Yorkshire Terrier puppy into her family and the fun adventures that followed. Lisa lives in Durham, North Carolina with her husband, Tommy of 29 years, River the Golden Retriever, Rex the Boxer, of course, Promise the Yorkshire Terrier and her grandson, Oliver along with two rescue cats, Lola and Simon. Her four daughters are now adults, live nearby and visit often.
