Revelation 6: 3 - 4 3. When the Lamb opened the second seal, John heard the second living creature saying, "Come and see." 4. Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.
Here is how the words are written in the Book of Revelation:
Now, a lot of things that are written in the Book of Revelation that's supposed to be happening in the last days were also happening since the beginning of creation. However, the meaning to these things were sealed, but after Jesus had opened all of the seven seals, one at a time, each seal reveal their own meaning and though the seals were all sealed, they were written in codes, wherefore, most of the human race do not have the understanding; of the symbols, for these things are kept as secrets from their mind. Anyway, I Clive Richards will give you the meaning to most of these things, as they've been revealed to me. Most of what is written in the Book of Revelation are symbols and are shorthand written. Therefore, just as a stenographer type spoken words in a shorthand way within the courtroom as the words are spoken, or a stenotype machine has been use for other purposes as shorthand, so is the Book of Revelation is shorthand written. Likewise, a stenotype machine have the letter of the words shorten and coded where's only the stenographer understand it, while a regular keyboard will type out all the words for you to understand them. Therefore, that is how the words are written in the Book of Revelation, shorthanded and coded. Furthermore, in the Book of Revelation, each statement is written in different phrases and each phrase has their own coding. And, the things that are written are striking more and causing more trouble in the last days of time, but it is not the final ending as yet. Book available in print and on all devices.
This was a Goodreads Win. Thank you. I received this a year ago, but moved, and it was in a box of books to be unpacked. Hence, the long wait to read and review.
This book is the paperback version, not the Kindle edition. It was quick and easy to read. This book discusses The interpretation of the "Second Seal" from the Book of Revelations. Which I have never understood, and don't think I ever will. However, the Author goes to some length to describe what the message of the second seal is.
Of course, I agree, re, the world becoming a wicked place, and the author writes about all the terrible killings going on all over the world. He also fills the book with graphs and statistics on this. However, in my opinion, there is also a lot of good people, doing really good works, so instead of starting my day off with gloom and doom, I try and find some article that tells me about "good" going on in the world. e.g. Guidepost, Woman's World, Angles, Miracles, and even Readers Digest, will have good work articles in them. Never hurts to do a good deed each day, or pass on a little kindness.
Our newspapers and left wing news media spill every day hate, and people are attacking each other just for different views on politics. Has the world gone to hell in a hand basket? Sometimes it feels this way. The author writes about many terrible acts of hate crimes etc.
The author, Clive Richards, also invites the reader to continue on reading with his other new books that he plans on writing. How he has interpreted the Book of Revelation for us all. At the end of this book, are question and answer pages, which could be used for a bible Book of Revelations study guide for The Second Seal.
I am an avid reader of anything to do with Theology so I loved this interpretation of the meaning of the second seal. I, also, love all the online references to dig deeper. I think that it may be a bit daunting for some readers as there are so many internet sites in the book. But all in all it would be great for anyone in the tech generation who get 90% of their information online. I think anyone could get something from this and with just the context of the book and not the links it is not a long read and good for a few minutes of downtime.
The title and summary suggests that the author will talk about Revelations - which he did for maybe 3 pages. The rest of the book was articles about police killings and violent crimes and terrorism. It was all information, he did not interpret anything and did not relate it back to Revelations at all. Very disappointed.
I received a paperback copy of this book in a Goodreads Giveaway. It is a very quick read because it is only 105 pages, much of which is in a large-ish font and widely spaced. The first quarter of the book states Richards' interpretation that the second seal mentioned in the Biblical book of The Revelation of John is symbolic of the violence that will pervade Earth near the end of time. The rest of the book (except the last few pages) is a collection of copied and pasted links to news pieces and copied and pasted portions of articles - all about worldwide violence in recent years. No big revelation there. Worldwide violence has been a thing throughout human history. We just have more access to global news now, which Richards proves nicely with all his copying and pasting. What he does write in his own words is full of grammar and spelling errors. The last few pages of the book are a questionnaire that the reader can fill out to determine whether they will eventually be saved and taken away from all of the aforementioned violence or not. This one gets no stars from me.
Got this book from Goodreads Giveaways. I found that this book was not what I was expecting. Found it to be very confusing and hard to understand what the author was trying to say. Don't think that I will be picking up any more books by this author.
I won this book via Goodreads First Reads. I am an ECE Administrator and I look forward to adding this book to our lending library for parents and staff at my school.
