improves upon Iron Gates by having some semblance of a plot, but the timeline is confusing and the whole thing is so poorly written that they would have been better off sticking to loosely connected disgusting scenes of pedophilia and torture (there are plenty of those, of course). it's especially hard to follow paragraph-long insufficiently punctuated sentances when the whole story goes pretty much nowhere. this one is more fantastical and science fiction than it's speculative predecessor. i can't imagine anyone other than sadistic pedophiles, esoteric fascists, or edgelords with power electronics projects, getting anything out of reading these books.
