This book is incredibly informative. I think I learnt as much as the kids did. Very important knowledge to have too. The only thing I believe would make this book better would be to have the pictures on colour or as photographs instead of drawings.

Excellent introduction to the subject, with intriguing text and good illustrations. My boys (5 & 7) found it very interesting.

A perfect book for elementary nature study.
