Although I'm a political scientist, in the mid to laste 1970s, I taught courses in comparative psychology/animal behavior/ethology. This was not a text that I adopted, but it was a source for lectures and illustration.
It was very helpful as a resource. The actual chapters here were not among tre classics of the era--but they did help me with examples to illustrate basic points as I taught these courses.
