A Twist in the Tale

Rate this book
A mute hobo hobbles into the pub at Sunny Corner, paying his way with a jar of reef gold. Does he know what lies under the graveyard, and who is disturbing the sleep of the dead? What comes of one man's obsession with orchids? And who knows the secrets of mysteriously fertile Grey's Valley, a place where anything could happen, where isolation borders on madness. These novellas by Hugh Atkinson deftly twist the threads of everyday life to reveal dark and unsettling images.
