An entertaining and therapeutic compilation of jibes, ripostes, put-downs, one-liners, and general verbal abuse addresses nationalism ("America is a mistake, a giant mistake! - Sigmund Freud), relationships ("Boy meets girl, so what." - Bertold Brecht), death ("A good career move." - Gore Vidal on the late Truman Capote), sex symbols ("Marilyn Monroe is a vacuum with nipples." - Otto Preminger), music ("Michael Jackson's album was called 'Bad' only because there wasn't enough room on the sleeve for 'Pathetic,'" - Prince), and other fields of human shortcomings.

Plenty more where they came from, you cannot read this book in one go as it contains to much witty remarks some more amusing than others. Take your time and enjoy them, this is a book you can return to many times.
Found this book while looking for something else among items from the past. Apparently a "release" from BookCrossing.com. Well worth reading while appreciating the humour and making you think. Will "release" for others.
