Wow! I loved this installment. I particularly liked the scene where Betty undertook her household chores in a carefree kickass manner 😉 With a flashback to the blossoming romance of Susie (Betty) and Jacob, I could feel that they are true soulmates. Will they be able to hide their feelings as they embark on the ultimate takedown?

Another great story this time Jacob comes calling and recognises Betty from his past and realises its been her leaving all the drugs parcels but lots of other things are unfolding in the story so why no grab you copy you won't want to put it down.

Each book gets better and better and draws you more into why and how. I am beginning to worry as I see more chance for exposure. If you've read all of the previous series, as you must before reading this one, you'll know what I mean.

I just love Hayley Camille's "Avon Calling" I'm afraid I'm a bit behind. #7 put a curve ball to the story. So will have to read #8 soon. Then track down the rest. Keep up the good work Hayley. Everyone should read this Kick ass character.

Jacob finally meets Betty … Will he recognize her? If so, what will happen? I loved learning more about their relationship in the past. I received a free copy of this book.

Episode 7 in the Avon Calling! series lets the reader in on the romance that was budding between Betty (Susie Poletti) and Jacob Lawrence when they were just kids and before life took a turn for the tragic. Jacob is not welcome at the Poletti house so the two have been meeting on the sly. Jacob is teaching Susie everything he learns at his boxing and karate classes. Susie has developed super strength and is super fast along with her ability to hear thoughts – a legacy from her mother’s side of the family.
As an adult, Betty uses her speed and strength to whip through her housekeeping. She’s spied on by Felix, one of Pinzolo’s goons, and when she discovers him she chases him down and they come to an uneasy standoff. She can’t take him out right there in front of her home with the neighbors looking on and he can’t hurt her for the same reason. He knows she’s got some unnatural skills and she knows about Tilly, his “secret” girlfriend and love of his life whom he’s trying to keep under wraps and out of sight of the evil, Pinzolo.
And then Jacob Lawrence shows up on her doorstep. Surprise! She’s been waiting for him to track her down and help her make things right.
Each episode in the series advances the plot and gets us closer and closer to a show-off between Betty/Susie and her uncle, Donny. The author seems to have some nice surprises tucked along the way.

Haunting memories.
It was amazing to link the past to the present and see how it is all growing. You can feel the tension ratcheting up as the book goes on. The growth of Jacob and seeing how different Betty is now compared to her past. It is a highly engaging series that seems to keep growing in strength.

I loved reading a little bit about Betty (Susie) and Jacob’s history. It makes me fall in love with her even more!
I love the episode idea. It is bite-sized chunks of entertainment without the large novel commitment! Perfect!

Susie and Betty are back and Jacob (Susie's first and only love) now knows Betty's secret. Where is Hayley taking us in the future. Can't wait for # eight.

LOVED this one. Jacob finally finds Betty which was lovely to read. I almost wish she wasn't married - it seems like a love story that needed to be finished and I'm sad for Jacob. But with their combined efforts, things are going to heat up now for Donny Pinzolo and the final butt kicking can't be far away. Loving this series, Hayley!!

Though the pace of this book was slower than the previous books this was just as good and exciting as the last books. I love this series immensely.
