Your ideal is your own personal idea of perfection. It's the way you see your circumstances - and the way you see yourself - when you imagine a world free from your own failures and negativity. It's the vision you aspire to; the dream you seek to bring to reality. The key to getting everything you ever wanted is to steadily increase your level of attainment so that each move forward is a closer approximation of the ideal. Any ideal can be realized through the continuous shaping of your environment into the image of your aspirations. Working with the correct increments, the world around you can be made to forever approach perfection. In modern society, the mindset that is commonly taught and enforced looks at the world mostly in terms of mere problem solving rather than ideal attainment. We have been conditioned to believe that we should react to our environment rather than create it. This conditioning that you have been programmed with will not lead you to success. A new mindset needs to be installed - one that will give you the freedom to pursue your own vision. One that will allow you to attain your own ideals.
If you have just started to learn about yourself, and want to know how to use your mind's 'computer' here is a great, well written and easy to follow book on the power of mind from a contemporary Author. Start from the simple truth - ‘Repetition is the key to the programming of the mind.’ The book is packed with brilliant thought provoking ideas and quotes that can teach you and entertain you at the same time.
I have read a bunch of self-help books, especially for dealing with negative thoughts since I suffer from anxiety. I think this one is up there for one of the best. It's well sectioned out to explain how you can retrain your mind to focus on goals instead of problems. There's a system he has written about goals built into stepping stones, always moving forward, and how to make this a habit so that failure doesn't exist anymore. There are a lot of good examples of situations throughout the book to help drive each point home. I think this would be a really useful book for anyone looking for a change in mindset.
This is a wonderful book focusing on how to take action to move out of negative focus and reach literally any goal. It is passionately written, with much care given to ensure important details and aspects of his strategy are clear and understood. I appreciate that the author took the time to define certain terms and concepts, and particularly enjoyed his focus on what I'd call "dreaming big"! A great addition to anyone looking to expand their life and make things happen!
