Introduced to violence and organized crime at the age of twelve, and sentenced to six years in the juvenile Department of Corrections at the tender age of 15. Surviving a hard jail life, 20 yr. old Jermel Arcilicia Taylor finds himself sitting in the admissions office of Northern Illinois University.
Although attending only 12 days of formal high school, Jermel suddenly realizes all of the trials and negative choices made by him and those around him molded him for a greater purpose and formed a testimony that yearned to be told to the world.
