A retelling of the traditional rhyme. Mittens are lost, pie is withdrawn; mittens are found, pie is on the menu again; mittens are dirtied, pie is withdrawn; mittens are washed, pie is back again. Slightly simplified, but text is no longer balanced enough to sing, and no longer rhymes entirely.

The illustrations are ugly, in my opinion, but my son will listen to the story and sit still.
