Started kinda slow but then I had to remind myself that they are still kids throughout the book so I understood their childlike behavior and the humor in the book was on 100 I laughed so much because my name was used and Lenika really reminded me of myself in so many ways although Diara named was mentioned it barely told her story

I will say this wasn't the best that I've read by the author. This book seemed rushed and I didn't get same feeling that I usually get when reading her books. I will say that I loved Lenika and Jordan, but everything happened sooo fast with them. Im going to read part 2 cause the way this one ended there are some questions that need to be answered.

Jordyn or Booby??
Neeka was a unique type of woman, navigating her way through first heartbreak and life. Poor Dia, after losing Cordell, can’t wait to find our who is her baby daddy! It’s still shady what happened to Cordell, especially for Jordan to have to pay the price, he did Neeka wrong, hopefully he redeems himself. Love that Neeka has good foundation and great support system. Already know Gucci is going to be a problem.

Enjoyed following along with this one but it was a bit too young for me. The situation with Jordan and Cordell I think Riely had something to do with that. Even when they came to the house for Jordan I think Riely told them. Don’t understand why he just dropped out like that or what the point was of him supposedly being on top of his game then falling apart with none of his family or people coming in.
The ending was confusing, from the jump I thought that Booby was him but his reaction to her changed my mind back and forth with each encounter. I’m hoping it’s not him though because that would make everything about him in the beginning be a waste. Either way I’m ready for the next one.

Crazy twist
Love the bond Lenika and Diara share. Wish that Diara would have shared her secret with Lenika instead of suffering in silence though. Riley is a hot mess not sure why Rhonda didn't just stick to her plans and leave him alone when she moved. Feel bad for Lenika hope that Booby really turns out to be Jordan and things work out, even though it will mean that Riley needs to be dealt with. I mean with all the foolishness he has surrounding him, he needs to be knocked off of his high horse. Don't know how Gucci made it to be the man in charge he seems softer than cotton. We'll see what the next book holds. Great read.

Good so far...think Neeka dad is a snake. Not feeling Zelly either...Is Booby who she thinks he is? This is a different read than I am used to from Azayler, but well worth the read.

A'zayler NEVER disappoints me! Even tho I don't care for the title the story is so good! Lenika and Jordan were my babies! They were so goofy I loved it! I loved Diara she reminded me of myself. Cornell was so sweet. I loved it! Can't wait til part 2!

OMGGGGGGG!!!! This storyline is sooooooo good!!!!! I need part 2 ASAP!!!! At first I'm like WTH is going on!!!! I love Jordan and I think he is Booby??? Like really what's going on???? I feel like Booby is Jordan but it's been 10yrs so LAWD!!!! Maybe he has a plan and he don't want anyone to know!!! But I went through all the emotions!!!! I cried, laugh and even got mad!!! I hope Jordan find his way back to Lenika bc they are made for each other!! I love Diara and I want her to find happiness as well!!! Ma dukes is crazy but I love her too!!!! I need part 2 ASAP!!! Keep up the awesome work!!! You are definitely one of my favorites!!!

This was a different kind of read for me from this author. It started off slow and it took me a minute to get into the storyline. I like Lenika and Jordan characters the most bcuz she acts exactly like my homegirl Lenika. LMAO! But this read didn't give me those usual feels wen I read a Zay book but she still made it her own

A'zayler Did it again
Yessss I don't know if it was the fact the The Character Lenika was so realistic that I couldn't stop laughing. When you can put a face and mannerisms of a person with a character it made the read so much better.
Seems to be a major twist coming in book 2. Does Jordan suffer with a mental illness or is he playing. I can't wait to see what happens next. Awesome Job

This book was good I couldn't stop reading until I was finished.I wished that the book could have went a little more into depth about Lenika and Jordan , also I wished that Diara and Cordell had a chance to really be together before he was killed. I was aomewhat losr on the second half of the book it just didnt seem to flow that well.Azayler still did an good job.
